Your journey begins at dawn as your expert guide from Chessie Holidays Safaris meets you at your Kampala hotel/The Airport. Departing the bustling city, you’ll embark on a scenic drive northwest, with your first stop at the renowned Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here, Uganda’s only wild rhinos roam freely, a testament to successful conservation efforts after their near extinction decades ago. Enjoy an immersive walking safari, where you’ll track these majestic creatures on foot—an unforgettable encounter. Afterward, savor a hearty lunch before continuing to Murchison Falls National Park. Arriving in the afternoon, you’ll cross the Nile by ferry, soaking in the park’s vast landscapes. As the sun dips below the horizon, settle into your comfortable lodge, Murchison River Lodge or similar, where a delicious dinner awaits.
