Your journey begins with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport, as we drive through the vibrant landscapes of central Kenya, crossing the equator en route to the breathtaking Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at Ashnil Samburu camp, where you’ll settle in for dinner and an overnight stay. The reserve’s unique ecosystem promises an introduction to Kenya’s northern wildlife.

Awake to a day of thrilling game drives, tracking rare species found only north of the equator—the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and the blue-legged Somali ostrich.
