Your adventure begins as you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where a warm welcome awaits from a Chessie Holidays Safaris representative. From Kampala, embark on a scenic journey to the legendary Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site spanning 231 square kilometers. This ancient rainforest is home to the majestic mountain gorillas, a variety of primates, and 23 Albertine Rift endemic bird species, including the African Green Broadbill and the Bar-tailed Trogon. En route, pause to witness the craftsmanship of Royal Drum makers and explore a local market, where you can immerse yourself in the culture with respect and curiosity. The journey continues through Uganda’s breathtaking terraced hillsides, arriving in Bwindi in time for a relaxing evening. Enjoy a delicious dinner and settle in for your
overnight stay at the luxurious Mahogany Springs Lodge (LDBB).
