Your journey begins as you depart Kampala for the breathtaking Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, you will stop to marvel at the iconic Royal Drum Makers, a cultural highlight that offers a glimpse into Uganda’s rich heritage. Arrive in time for lunch at the park, where you will be greeted by the stunning landscapes that define this region. In the afternoon, settle into your accommodation at Mweya Lodge or a similar establishment, and if time permits, embark on an early evening game drive. This is your first opportunity to witness the park’s diverse wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes, as they emerge in the golden light of dusk.
